Elizabeth Bennett is Chief Information Officer for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) which provides transportation planning and bus and rail service to the county of Los Angeles. She has served in the public sector for over fifteen years with Metro where she held several management positions prior to her current appointment. She also has over twenty years of experience in managing and delivering information technology services to the banking, manufacturing and retail industries. She has served as Vice President at Home Savings of America, Assistant Vice President at Republic Federal Savings and Loan, and Assistant Controller at Frank Sbicca & Company. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles.
