Charlie Hu, a Chinese-American born in Taiwan, is a senior manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) responsible for providing usage and billing services for SCE customers. His responsibilities include billing 57.7 million service account bills totally $12 billion in billed revenue annually. Charlie has been with SCE since 1990. He started in the Information Technology organization where he held positions with increasing responsibility involving system development and implementation of SCE’s current billing system. The last fourteen years include leadership roles involving implementation of various major initiatives in CSBU with focus in the areas of customer service, metering, meter reading, field services, billing, and revenue collections. Charlie earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University of Los Angeles.
