Peter Kao, joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000 and has more than 15 years of professional experience in international banking, corporate finance, and international tax planning. Mr. Kao specializes in facilitating cross border merger and acquisition, assisting China inbound and outbound investments, planning international family wealth and estate tax strategies, structuring United States based high-technology joint ventures, structuring foreign PE and fund investments in the United States and China, and developing strategies for inbound and outbound transfer pricing and Advance Pricing Agreement.
Mr. Kao is a frequent speaker at local and national seminars (i.e. CITE China Tax Conference, CalCPA International Tax Conference, Orange County Tax Executives Conference, Hong Kong Business Association, Chinese American Society of Accountants, PricewaterhouseCoopers International Tax Conference, etc.)
Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Kao worked for a major international bank for six years. In addition, he was the chief financial officer for an international chemical distribution company for two years. Mr. Kao obtained a B.S. degree in Finance and a Master degree in Business Taxation from University of Southern California. Mr. Kao is a member of American Institute of CPA and CalCPA Society, California and Texas Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Kao serves as a Director at ASCEND National Board, board member at Asian American Professional Association, and the Co-Champion of PricewaterhouseCoopers AANC (Asian American Network Circle).
