Thomas Phelps IV, CISA leads the Southern California/Phoenix Security Practice for
PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Thomas is responsible for “C”-level client relationships, practice management and engagement leadership for clients in the SoCal/Phoenix market. He has led a significant number of security projects for Entertainment, Media and Communications clients over his 12 years at PwC, including entertainment studios, a motion picture trade association, wireless communications companies and others. Thomas has been involved in several creative projects including being the executive producer for security and privacy videos and online training programs.
Thomas has led global, multi-million dollar enterprise-wide engagements and improved business performance in areas such as information security, enterprise risk management, supply chain risk management, IT effectiveness, IT service management and business continuity management. He is familiar with regulations and standards that involve IT and information security such as: ISO 27002, COBITTM, HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, GLBA FTC Safeguards, NIST Special Publication Series, and others.
