Alan Leung

Alan Leung is a leader in clean energy, sustainability, and community empowerment. As head of the Clean Energy Applications RD&D Program at SoCalGas, he develops innovative solutions to reduce emissions and drive a sustainable future.

Before joining SoCalGas in 2020, Alan spent six years at the California Air Resources Board (CARB), collaborating with the U.S. EPA on vehicle emissions compliance and enforcement. At SoCalGas, he advances clean energy technologies that shape the industry’s future.

Alan holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler, an MS in Civil Engineering from USC, and a BS in Environmental Engineering from UCM.

Beyond energy, he empowers Asian American professionals as an AAPA board member, mentoring young leaders and supporting social equity initiatives. Alan is dedicated to driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity—fostering change, building connections, and making a lasting impact.
