Karlo Velez

Utility Design Engineer

​Karlo Velez graduated from the University of Utah with his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. He comes from a line of Civil Engineers in the family, this includes his Grandfather, Uncle, his younger brother and cousins. His career started in Land Development which included projects like shopping centers and master plan communities in both Utah and California. He eventually found his way to Transportation Engineering where his current focus is in roadway design with an emphasis on Utility design and coordination. Karlo has worked on many projects in multiple states, this includes; Utah, Washington, Nevada, New York and California. One of his most noteworthy projects is the I-405 widening project in Orange County, California. Karlo loves to serve others and is always looking to help grow careers of fellow colleagues.
