Linda Kim, CFESr. Vice President, Private Client Manager
Linda Kim is a Senior Vice President, Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank. She is the primary point of contact for existing clients. Linda’s main objectives are to listen to clients, help identify their needs,
provide guidance and coordinate with the appropriate representatives of the Bank of America Private Bank platform of extensive resources to support each client’s overall wealth strategy. While developing new client relationships and helping to ensure a professional and personal client experience, Linda is responsible for assisting clients with investment management, strategic banking and credit, as well as daily liquidity and service needs. Linda started her career at Bank of America in 2000 and has experiences in Consumer Banking, Enterprise Fraud Intelligence Team, Global Financial Crimes and Compliance, Global Human Resources, Global Risk and Global Technology & Operations lines of businesses. In addition to being successful in multiple lines of business, Linda is a Certified Fraud Examiner, awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Linda is a subject matter expert in pursuing financial crimes, and an acknowledged leader who builds highly motivated teams. She has repeat success in establishing new departments with a high-performance team while designing and implementing new business processes and procedures, and with the new team operating smoothly within a year. Linda is a strong champion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and received the Diversity & Inclusion for Success certificate from USC Marshall School of Business. She was the recipient of Bank of America Global Diversity and Inclusion Award in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021; Global Volunteer Service Award in 2016 for her work with Asian American Advancing Justice Los Angeles; Southern California Employee Network Above & Beyond Award in 2014; and The President’s Community Volunteer Honor Roll since 2015 to current, serving over 500 volunteer hours. She is currently Bank of America Enterprise Strategy Co-Chair for Asian Leadership Network (ALN), Chair Emeritus for ALN Southern California Chapter, Advisor for Greater Los Angeles Multicultural Women Ready to Lead, Co-Chair for Bank of America Greater Los Angeles Associate Engagement Council, and a mentor with Greater Los Angeles Associate Leadership Council. Linda has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2020 for Women’s Leadership “Volunteer of the Year” Finalist and in 2021 for Women’s Leadership “Woman to Watch” Nominee. Linda is also an experience coordinator/event planner for multiple D&I symposiums, fireside chats, panel discussions, and executive forums. Linda volunteers with various non-profit organizations as well as deliver financial education in local communities. Linda serves on the Board of Directors for Bresee Foundation, Asian American Professional Association, and the Los Angeles Chapter of the ACFE. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Portland State University and an MBA from the Executive program at USC Marshall School of Business. |
