Mary LamAfter more than 25 years of service in the public sector, Mary harnessed her longstanding passion for helping others to found ACT (Action, Contemplation, Transformation) Camps, a company focusing on unleashing human potential, communication, personal growth and leadership development. She is an Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team, an elite group of certified coaches mentored by renowned leadership expert and New York Times best-selling author John C. Maxwell. she is also a member of the President’s Advisory Council serving on the John Maxwell Team Member Services Committee.
Mary is also an insight based Transformative Coach focusing on one-on-one heartfelt conversations that explore the inside out understanding of where life experiences come from, shift foundations and expand possibilities. It's a way to connect to our own innate wisdom and well-being and to live from a spacious space of creativity with the least amount of tension, fear and discouragement. Previously, Mary was president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers, and an Executive Board Member of the Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association. She served as a mentor at the Asian American Professional Association from 2017- 2019. Currently, she is a member of the International Association of Professional Women and proudly serves as Youth Faith Formation Educator at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas. |
