Nina LaiCommunications and Marketing Leader
Nina is a global communications leader who has steered brand campaigns for iconic brands including Lenovo, Emirates Airlines, Nike, Dubai Tourism, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotels. As a Third Culture Kid, she brings a unique cross-cultural perspective shaped by her experience across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. As founder of NYL Consulting, Nina partners with executives to enhance their communications strategy and organizational culture. Previously, she served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Global Head of Internal Communications at Benefit Cosmetics. Prior to the beauty industry, she led Global Executive Communications at Lenovo and oversaw advertising across Greater China at Emirates Airlines. Her career foundation was built in global advertising, education management, and strategic communications. Nina's leadership philosophy centers on embracing the pivot, nurturing strong relationships, and the liberating practice of not making things personal. She serves on the Grant Review Committee of Impact 100 Seattle, advancing trust-based philanthropy through women's collective giving. Beyond her professional and community engagement, Nina enjoys building LEGOs with her daughter and pursuing her passion for photography. |
