Phillip Fujii

​Phil Fujii was the Director of Ride Project Engineering at Walt Disney Imagineering before retiring in March 2024. He led a group of highly skilled engineers responsible for delivering safe, reliable, one-of-a-kind amusement park ride systems on time and on budget. He held a number of other leadership and technical positions during his 34 years at Imagineering, 2 years at WET Design, and 10 years at Hughes Aircraft Company (now Raytheon Technologies).

Away from work, Phil enjoys family time, walking the dogs, outdoor activities, and home-roasting coffee beans. He recently joined a hiking trail maintenance crew.

Phil has both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. He previously supported the career development of other Imagineers and would like to assist an AAPA member while they navigate their career.
