Rachel Kochhar is APCF’s Community Engagement Coordinator, where she oversees the organization's Capacity Building Program, including the Community-Based Workshops, Van Tours, Meet the Funders and other resource development programs. Previously, she served as an Outreach Specialist for a non-profit based in the Inland Empire, where she connected with other non-profits and faith-based organizations through COVID-19 education and vaccine access. She was able to expand the organizations' partnership within the AAPI community during her time there.
Rachel has been a member of the National Alliance of Filipino Concerns since 2018 and is an active community organizer within Los Angeles County. She has a passion for healthcare access, social determinants of health, and health equity. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Promotion, Education, and Evaluation, as well as a being a Certified Health Education Specialist. She obtained her bachelor’s in Human Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
