Richard CheungDr. Richard S. Cheung is an esteemed board member of the Asian American Professional Association (AAPA) since 2022, where he plays an integral role on both the strategic and entrepreneurial leadership initiative committees. With a deep commitment to community service, Richard has a rich history of serving on nonprofit boards, including his recent tenure as the immediate past president of Friends In Deed, a local agency dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable neighbors within the Pasadena community. At Friends In Deed, Richard led transformative programs such as the Bad Weather Shelter, The Women’s Room, and The Food Pantry, all aimed at providing essential assistance and care to those in need.
In addition to his involvement with Friends In Deed, Richard serves on the Governing Board and Co-chairs the Advisory Board of LA’s BEST, a renowned after school enrichment program benefiting elementary school students across over 200 Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) schools. Recently, he concluded his term as a board member for the Alumni Association of the Southern California University of Health Sciences, further demonstrating his dedication to education and community betterment. Residing and practicing in the vibrant city of Pasadena, Dr. Richard Cheung runs a thriving chiropractic private practice. Beyond his professional commitments, Richard finds joy in spending time with family and friends, outdoor pursuits, sports, and connecting with individuals who share his passion for volunteering and making a positive impact through various non-profit organizations. |
