He leads the Business Innovation and Technology organization, which includes ITS, Business Transformation Office, Product & Customer Support, and GRC departments—along with data analytics, strategic alliances and analyst relations. Laserfiche was named as a Visionary in the 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Content Services platform and Customers’ Choice in the 2022 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer: Content Services Platforms.
Previously, Thomas was PwC’s national entertainment and media champion for cybersecurity. He led the innovation of content security practices used worldwide by the motion picture industry. Prior to PwC, Thomas was part of three new business initiatives at Motorola, including the start-up Internet Software Products Division. He was an Adjunct Professor for the Master in Accounting with Data and Analytics (MAcc D+A) program at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Thomas is a founding member and past-president of Ascend Los Angeles Metro. He is the Executive Chair of Innovate@UCLA. He is on the CSU Long Beach 49er Foundation Board, which is responsible for the stewardship of the University’s $150M+ endowment. Thomas serves on the board of directors for STEM Advantage and Southern California, Society for Information Management. He is a board advisor to Advancing Women in Technology and a past-president of ISACA Los Angeles. He has co-authored/contributed to five books, including publications by PwC, ISACA and CRC Press, and was cited in The Robotic Process Automation Handbook by Tom Taulli. Thomas has been published or quoted in many publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Business Journal “Who’s Who in Tech 2021”, along with Forbes, The Economist, The Enterprisers, CIO.com, IDG Connect, Tech Target, and others. |
